Located in Burbank, CA, Body Engineering by JD is dedicated to providing quality care and offers a comprehensive range of services including personal training, pain management, corrective exercise, pilates, and nutritional coaching.
The studio is equipped with routinely cleaned and serviced strength training machines accompanied with unique tools like a clinical Reformer and Graston technique massage instruments.
Whether you’re dealing with chronic or acute joint and muscle pain, recovering from an injury, or just looking to improve your overall health and wellness, there is something here for everyone from all backgrounds and experience levels.

Personal Training
Get ready to achieve your fitness goals with personalized one-on-one* training sessions and personalized fitness plans. I will work with you to create a workout and wellness plan that fits your needs and helps you reach your full potential.

First session will primarily consist of a discussion where we dive into what your goals are (ie. lose weight, shoulder pain, get stronger, etc).

Prior experience in the gym is not required, I will meet you where you are.
*Couple/duo sessions are available upon request

Pilates
Welcome to our Pilates studio! We offer one-on-one Pilates sessions with our certified instructors, including the use of our unique clinical reformer. Our sessions are designed to improve flexibility, muscle tone, and core strength. Join us for a personalized Pilates experience that will leave you feeling stronger and more energized

Nutritional Coaching
Using the latest data in nutritional science and anecdotal evidence gathered through 15 years of trial and error, we'll work together to optimize a nutrition plan around your needs and goals.
Strength Training
At Body Engineering, we prioritize strength as a key factor in improving your quality of life. Through resistance training and evidence-based practices, we work to enhance musculoskeletal health.
Corrective Exercise
Through optimal posture and muscle balance, we can effectively reverse unhealthy movement patterns from excessive sitting and bad habits.
Sports Injuries
An injury can arise suddenly, from years of neglect or a sudden unexpected movement. Many of my clients work with me to strengthen their knees after torn ligaments, strengthening their back after herniations or disc perturberences, and even torn or severely injured rotator cuffs in the shoulder joint.

Pain Management
Musculoskeletal pain originates from an overall imbalance in the muscles of a joint, a structural issue, or incorrect movement habits. It’s our job together to come up with a holistic game plan to manage these issues.
